I don’t know if I’m happy or sad to see 2007 leave us.
* Thankfully, I’ve had a job all year. Sadly, I feel a bit overworked.
*Thankfully, I am now (as of November) entitled to a vacation. Sadly, I will spend most of it working on my house and attending to some personal business, that may be disclosed at a later date.
*Thankfully, I have been sober for 6yrs. Sadly, I am no longer spending lonely nights with women of questionable morals, whom I have picked up in bars.
* Thankfully, I have a High Speed Cable Connection. Sadly, my cable bill is going up in January.
*Thankfully, I live in a democratic society and have the right to vote. Sadly, I don’t like ANYBODY who’s running.
*Thankfully, I have Xanga Premium. Sadly, I’m spending less and less time on it, because of *1 above.
I don’t look at the above list as complaining or not being appreciative. Believe me… last year was a LOT BETTER than the previous year.
I actually see the glass half full and bottle sitting right next to it in 2008.

I Got Carded!
I guess 2007 wasn’t a total loss. A young girl at the Walgreens carded me when I went to buy cigarettes.
I showed her my ID and she said… “You sure don’t look 46 mister.”
Bless her little heart. I want to marry her!

I thought I'd post a video by Zakk Wylde, the former Ozzy guitarist, who is also a Skynyrd fan. In his rendition of SHA, he plays all three of the guitar parts and improvises with a little shredding of his own at the end.
The video was shot in the parking lot of a music store, where he was performing for some type of event. The casual, close setting, would be great for a NEW YEAR JAM!

I prolly won't try it this year, I feel like I am on here too much when family is home.............:P and Alicia and Kathi are prolly busy.........that was a blast, and yes, I am a loser too, and Durn proud of it!! Happiest New Year. I am proud of your number 3 on your list! By the way I have called the cable people and tell them I am going have to cancel and they ask why I say because of the price. I tell them what my budget is and they will make it happen. To be honest I did this in GA because of the price and they cut the cost in half! I got a great deal here too. When first moved here was going have them do the connection, etc but postpone. The next month got a call and the cost for the connection was done away with and the service cost was about 1/2 price too. So give them a call and maybe get the cost lowered!
