Well, I got all my Christmas cards mailed out today. I don’t usually send out a lot, but I got involved in this Christmas card exchange with members of a message board I frequent. There was about 30 people on the list (besides myself). They were mostly from the US, although the list also included 4 Canadians, 1 Australian, and an Ecuadorian.
I just think it’s kind of neat to get a card, and share a card with someone from a different part of the country or the world. ****

Doggone it! Anybody got any nail clippings from Peyton Manning!?! I’m gonna make a doll and stick pins in it!
The Jags played valiantly today and almost had a victory against Prissy Peyton and his Toy Ponies, but it was not be. A few stupid penalties by the Jaguars ruined a 2nd quarter return of an errant pass of Manning’s that was intercepted by Reggie Nelson. The Jags were around the Colts 10yrd line, when they received a couple of penalties (in 2 consecutive plays) that set em back 27yrds and had to settle for a field goal.
By the forth quarter though, the Cardiac Cats had come back with David Garrard throwing a 17-yard TD pass to Dennis Northcutt, then bulling in for a 2-point conversion, cutting it to 28-25 with 2:47 left.
The Jags decided to kick off and hope to stop the Colts, but it didn’t work. It was close, within 3 points of a win, but….

Hello, I so totally agree about Manning!!! One year I went to my local town Bethlehem to get my Christmas cards stamped with a special "Christmas from Bethlehem" stamp. Go figure no one noticed this until I mentioned to a couple of people. Please take care and have a grand week, Sharon in SC
Hey! I'm not a football fan at all, but I used to deliver in Jax quite a bit, and drove by the stadium there 2 or 3 times a week back in the 90's.
I have no use for the Colts, either! I didn't see the game, but would like Jacksonville to have handed them their hats!
Message board? What about those of us on here, hmm? WE like Christmas cards, too! :-p
Hope work is going well for you. It seems like it's keeping you busy, but just hope it's not the crazy kind of busy.

RYC: You are exactly right. Bluegrass is derived directly from celtic fiddle music. When you mix celtic with a bit of delta blues, you get bluegrass!
Those collect calls are like $5 a minute too from the PBs. I don't get 'em, but my mother does--it's a scam by our own loving government to make money off the unfortunate! I won't write 'em, excepting my friend. I won't give up on her.
Thanks for your comment.
I haven't been around as much either--I now just post more and run off.
Where've you been?
I have given up on the Chiefs for this season. I wouldn't bet on them to win a pajama bowl game with 12-year-old girls!
How's it going for you?

My aren't we in the Christmas spirit this year...cards and everything! LOL It is cool to get correspondence from outside the US. I even remember the good old days when we actually snail mailed penpals instead of emailing! How's that for old? ;)
Sorry about your team...sounds like it was a heartbreaker!!!!
Hope you're having a good weekend. It's snowing like crazy here. At least the ice left over from days of the ice storm was *mostly* gone. Please don't tell me the temperature in FL; if I want to know I'll watch the Weather Channel.
PJ
Well, you're still out there somewhere! LOL How ya doing, Tommy? Your Jags played a great one last week, if memory serves me (and it may not, hehe). All ready for Christmas?
