Drive By Posting!
Just a post to let you guys know I’m still around. My hours have changed once again and I hardly have a chance to even keep up with my Xanga.
Sadly, while I was looking for something cheery to post, I found out Hughie Thomason (of the Outlaws and later Skynyrd) passed away.
All I can say is DAMN, there goes another one. I had wanted to attend The Outlaws Reunion Concert at Freebird Live awhile back and wasn’t able to. I kept telling myself… “I’ll catch em on the next one”…. Then BOOM! GONE!!
NO HUGHIE! NO OUTLAWS!
RIP - HUGHIE THOMASSON - August 1952 - September 9th 2007
I’ll do my best to get around to EVERYBODY this weekend *crosses fingers* I am beat, just about every day when I get home. I log-in, check a few things, then log-out… well… sometimes I leave my comp on… when I’m (GAH!!) working… lol. But that’s about it, during the week anyway.
PEACE!
Tom.

Hey, Tommy, glad you are okay and just busy. But come on and update once in awhile, so we know you're alive!
I don't think I have heard from you since I had to pay tribute to your Jags on my site! I think the Chiefs might finally have a quarterback in Brody Croyle! We didn't win Sunday, but you really couldn't blame that on him. He's got quite some arm!

I know the feeling Tom, my life is busy too! .............H.T RIP! :)
R.I.P. Hughie.
Been a long time. Notice my football team? Yea, they suck....
Yea, they're awful. I've lost four games in a row and I don't know if I'm going to win many more. At one time I was 5-2 and in first place. Now I'm 5-6 and in danger of slipping out of the playoffs. Hard thing is everyone either getting hurt or arrested. lol And P. Rivers? Damn him! He was my QB last season and he did so well. Not the case this year...
I was sweating bullets over Johnston. I had to let him go to get another receiver since all of mine went on bye the same week. I thought for sure he would get snatched!
I went to a concert in Portsmouth VA in 1980. The bands were, Henry Paul Band, Robbin Thompson Band, Dixie Dregs, .38 Special, and Molly Hatchet. Molly Hatchet recorded their "Beatin' the Odds" album there. What a fun time. I'm not from the south, but I really loved southern rock.
Love the Ninja attack! LOL, I wondered what those mini's are about, I still don't get it!
You can close your curtains if you want, but I'm still a peeper! :)
Glad you enjoyed the appearance of Dr Hook! I never paid much attention to them because my first ex wife liked them and I associated them with her.
It's good that you're busy, I hope you can get a holiday soon though!
These rock people keep on dying, seeing them still alive and so aged jars me often lately.
